Story: CompUSA TV Network
ISM Networks was responsible for the implementation and
development of CompUSA's Instore TV Network. ISM worked directly with
both CompUSA Merchandising Management as well as CompUSA’s Vendor and
Manufacturer base to establish and create an extremely successful
network model.
ISM maintained a dedicated sales team to support CompUSA vendors and
provided a complete account management service for CompUSA. The ISM
team created the most profitable retail network in the Consumer
Electronics industry during their time. ISM managed all the
aspects to the CompUSA Media Network including:

Synergistic Efforts
ISM’s management style allowed CompUSA employees to concentrate on
their core responsibilities while supporting the efforts of the ISM
team. In turn, ISM served as an extension of the CompUSA family and
helped to build the network to fulfill many parameters and goals of
both CompUSA and their vendor and manufacturer partners.
Research Results
The CompUSA Media Network was an in-store advertising medium which
communicated with consumers and sales associates at a critical time
and place – in the store when purchase decisions were made. Specific
messaging and programming were broadcast on the in-store network,
including a mix of informative segments, sponsor commercials, and
entertainment all designed to better engage the customer.
